This simple little Toy Zip Line challenge has more problem-solving than expected.⁠

Our toys were interlocking cubes. I added a rule that the toys could not be taped in place so students had to really think about how to secure them. The reason was >>> the toys slid around and made the sleigh tilt as it zipped down the line.⁠

That tilt caused toys to fall out. Turns out the students had to make sure the strings attaching to the line were balancing the sleigh. What a great lesson! #kidsneedstem⁠
